Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Manassas, Virginia, for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position where youll play a vital role in helping students develop the communication skills they need to succeed in school and life.
About the Role
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy and communication support to students across various grade levels. Youll have the opportunity to impact student growth, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to an inclusive and nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.

Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).

Collect data, maintain accurate session notes, and monitor student progress.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and parents.

Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional learning activities.
Qualifications

Active or eligible Virginia SLPA license.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
